Join us for a panel discussion and the launch of comic, ‘Disability, Queerness and me: An exploration of sexual experiences.’ The event will share findings from a co-produced research project led by We Are The People, Bath Spa University and Queer Out Loud CIC, which explored experiences of sexual expression among queer disabled people living within the South West. The comic was designed by artist, Jua OK!

The panel will consist of the researchers on the project: Dr Nina Worthington, Dr Stuart Read, and Mimi Jones (Co-director of Queer Out Loud CIC). Panel representation may be subject to change.

It is free to attend this panel discussion, and no prior understanding of disability is required.

Please note: The discussion will contain themes of a sexual nature and is not suitable for children. The comic book contains nudity.

For more information about the panel discussion and to discuss any access needs you may have, please contact WeAreThePeople@bathspa.ac.uk
